*Some drawing experience is suggested but not required.

*Students must own an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and the Procreate App prior to class start. (PLEASE CHARGE YOUR iPAD PRIOR TO CLASS)

The Drawing Fundamentals Course is a 4-session Class that covers the basics of building drawing skills in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! We will cover line drawing, proportions, shading and other basics using the “Roadmap Method” created by the Instructor.

The Roadmap Method is a unique, easy-to-learn method that breaks down complex objects into manageable pieces that the Artist can use to more accurately depict proportion and objects.

+ What to bring:

  • A sketchbook

  • A pencil

  • An eraser

Learn drawing techniques from Professional Artist & Instructor Abby Hermes in this Magical themed Fundamentals Workshop hosted at Dragon’s Forge Cafe in Huntsville, Alabama!

Using the ‘Road Map’ Method, students will learn how to break down and structure drawings more easily, capture proportions, and challenge their perceptions about what it means to develop skill and find their Art Style.
