The Roadmap Method is a unique, easy-to-learn method that breaks down complex objects into manageable pieces that the Artist can use to more accurately depict proportion and objects.

  • An eraser

"Making Magic" Drawing Workshop - AL

Learn drawing techniques from Professional Artist & Instructor Abby Hermes in this Magical themed Fundamentals Workshop hosted at Dragon’s Forge Cafe in Huntsville, Alabama!

Using the ‘Road Map’ Method, students will learn how to break down and structure drawings more easily, capture proportions, and challenge their perceptions about what it means to develop skill and find their Art Style.

When: August 26th @ 5-7pm

Where: Dragon’s Forge Cafe

All Students are entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win free Art Supplies, Prints, and other goodies!

  • Dragon’s Forge Cafe and Ecopath LLC reserve the right to accept or deny enrollment in any class, session, or workshop by any registrant. Class sizes are limited and enrollment is a first come first served basis.

    Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming classroom that will allow everyone to learn! Below are the Terms of Service that you agree to by registering:

    General Rules

    1. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated by either Ecopath LLC or Dragon’s Forge Cafe. The first warning will be between the Instructor or Cafe Staff and the student. In the case of further incidents, the student will be expelled from the class and his/her ticket will not be returned.

    2. Respect others in the classroom, including their property.

    3. Safety rules will be enforced at all times.

    6. Treat the classroom and equipment with care and respect (i.e. no defacing the Cafe or Classroom property)

    7. Students are responsible for their own actions at all times.

    8. Parents/students are responsible for replacement of any items broken, or any damage to the facility sustained as a result of your child’s or personal behavior.

    Image and Likeness Release Agreement

    I, the undersigned, declare that my image and likeness may be used by Dragon’s Forge Cafe and Ecopath LLC for promotional purposes on their web site, social media and/or in printable form. The following rights are waived by the undersigned: The right to make claim of ownership or suit against Dragon’s Forge Cafe or Ecopath LLC, all or in part for the reproduction, use or intent to generate revenue with the aforementioned photos. The following rights are retained by Dragon’s Forge Cafe and Ecopath LLC: Reproduction of said image(s) in future works of their own, such as books, lectures, and marketing or public relations preferences.
